Xavier Cortadellas i Gratacòs is a Catalan writer, journalist, and editor born in La Bisbal d'Empordà on November 27, 1956. He has authored various essays and fiction books in Catalan. From 2002 to 2009, he directed the magazine Gavarres, followed by the Revista de Girona from 2009 to 2017. He has contributed as a columnist for El Punt and served as a literary critic for Presència and Caràcters. In 2010, he co-founded Edicions Sidillà and published a commemorative book in 2021 with colleagues.
