Initially an extreme-right activist in the 1960s, he became an educator specializing in crime, terrorism, and urban insecurity. Raufer has published over twenty books on these subjects, working closely with criminologist Alain Bauer on four of them. He frequently contributes to press publications and television shows, sharing his expertise in the field of criminality.
