Xesús Campos Álvarez, known as Chichi Campos, was a Galician cartoonist and journalist born in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, on December 31, 1952, and died in Santiago de Compostela on February 26, 1991. He was one of the most talented and critical advertisers of the 1970s and 1980s. In 2024, the Galician Association of Illustration Professionals dedicated the Day of Illustration to him.
