Xia Yutian (February 1938 – July 30, 2004) was a male Chinese Quyi playwright and actor from Beijing, with ancestral roots in Hebei. He spent much of his artistic career in Wuhan, where he held several significant positions, including Vice Chairman of the Chinese Quyi Association and Chairman of the Wuhan Municipal Literary Federation. He was the recipient of various prestigious awards for his contributions to the arts, including the Yellow Crane Literature Award and the Golden Yellow Rose Award.
