Ximbinha, born Cledivan Almeida Farias on February 12, 1974, in Oeiras do Pará, is a Brazilian guitarist, producer, multi-instrumentalist, entrepreneur, and composer. He was the guitarist and business partner of Banda Calypso alongside his ex-wife Joelma from 1999 to 2015, achieving record sales in Brazil. After Calypso disbanded, he rebranded to Ximbinha and created Banda X, previously known as XCalypso. He was honored as 'Guitarrista da Categoria Banda dos Sonhos' at the MTV Video Music Brasil and listed as one of the top 30 Brazilian guitar icons by Rolling Stone Brasil in 2012.
