She gained recognition for documenting her battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma through a webcomic. Her story inspired the posthumous film 'Go Away Mr. Tumor' (2015). Xiong created several comics including 'A Bachelorette's Diary' and published six graphic books. Diagnosed in August 2011, her work reflected an optimistic perspective despite her illness. She passed away on November 16, 2012, at the age of 30, emphasizing the importance of how one lives despite challenges.
