Xu Zhongpei, also known by her pen name Yu Feng, was a Chinese writer born on February 12, 1917, in Changshu, Jiangsu. She was a member of the Chinese Writers Association and the wife of Zhu Fusong, a former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China. Her notable work, 'Yu Yin,' is recognized as one of the four great novels about the resistance during the war, depicting the life of a journalist during that turbulent period. Xu passed away on April 6, 2006.
