Yasuki Kurosawa was a Japanese businessman born on March 28, 1952, in Yokote, Akita Prefecture. After dropping out of Akita Kosen, he joined Tokyo Matsubou Engineering. In 1973, he entered Yokogawa Hewlett-Packard, where he held various managerial positions, including Director of the Enterprise Business Group. He became President of Cisco Systems Japan in 1998 and served as Senior Vice President at Cisco in the United States in 2004. He was diagnosed with cancer in late 2008 and passed away on April 4, 2010, at the age of 58.
