Yazit Ahmad was a Malaysian musician born on May 10, 1962, who gained fame as the drummer for the rock band Search. He contributed to over 20 commercially successful studio albums and numerous hit singles, and was known for his sold-out concerts. In addition to his work with Search, he was also active with the band Rampage since 2001. Yazit was recognized with the Ikon Seniman Setiawangsa Award in 2019 and was the brother of professional drummer Zahid Ahmad.
