Yehoshua Globerman (January 30, 1905 – December 8, 1947) was a senior commander in the Haganah, serving as the head of civil guard units. He was killed in an Arab ambush at the beginning of the War of Independence and was posthumously promoted to the rank of Major General. His leadership and sacrifice contributed to the early phases of the conflict that led to the establishment of the State of Israel.
