Yevhen Kovalenko is a Ukrainian artist known for his role as the artistic director of the vocal-instrumental ensemble 'Kobza'. He has been recognized as a People's Artist of Ukraine since 1997 and was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR in 1982. As a talented pianist, performer, soloist, accompanist, composer, arranger, and poet, he has made significant contributions to the music scene. In 2008, he received the III degree Order of Merit for his accomplishments in the arts.
