Yevhen Yehorov was a prominent Soviet shipbuilding engineer and scientist in the field of submarine construction. Born on January 20, 1908, he became a Doctor of Technical Sciences in 1970 and was a professor. Yehorov played a pivotal role in establishing Sevmashpredpriyatie as the largest center for atomic submarine construction in the USSR and the world from 1952 to 1972. He is best known for overseeing the rapid resolution of various challenges in the construction of the first Soviet atomic submarine, K-3 'Leninsky Komsomol'.
