Yik Siu Ling (born December 27, 1977) is a survivor of the Manila hostage crisis. During her trip to the Philippines on August 23, 2010, she was shot in the jaw, resulting in severe injuries. She underwent a total of 33 surgeries in Hong Kong and South Korea, later completing her jaw reconstruction process in Taiwan. On December 27, 2013, her reconstructive surgery was successful. Following her recovery, she aimed to pursue a career in the insurance industry to support her family.
