Yōko Kuroki (January 6, 1921 – February 18, 1959) was a Japanese singer, born in Osaka. She graduated from Osaka Prefectural Izumi-O High School. Kuroki began her career in 1939 in Dalian, Manchuria, and debuted with Nihon Columbia in 1948. She became famous for her hits like 'Besame Mucho' in 1950 and 'Blue Begin' in 1952. Tragically, she died in an accident at the age of 38, along with her daughter. A memorial was established in her honor near the accident site.
