Edmee Yolanda Schakron-Rodríguez, born on September 25, 1965, is a Belizean activist and candidate from the People's United Party. She is notably recognized as the aunt of murder victim Chris Galvez and is the founder and president of Belizeans For Justice. Schakron was the PUP standard bearer for Lake Independence in 2012 but faced disqualification due to her dual citizenship. After renouncing her U.S. citizenship, she later attempted to run for Mayor of Belize City in 2015 but was unsuccessful.
