Yonehachi Katsura (桂米八) was a Japanese rakugo performer and spinning top performer born on February 4, 1956, in Himeji, Hyogo. His real name was Etsuji Yamamoto, and he graduated from Himeji Technical High School. He joined the third generation of Katsura Beichō in March 1974. While originally active in rakugo, he later focused on spinning top performances. He held classes at the Kintetsu Culture Salon in Abeno. Yonehachi passed away at the age of 58 on January 20, 2015, due to esophageal cancer. His daughter is actress Mayumi Yamamoto.
