He identifies as an anime and permanent otaku, describing himself as "less clever." His hobbies include photography and drawing. Naoi has published a sketchbook featuring his artwork and has contributed to several album cover designs. In the band, he is nicknamed "Chama," a play on the Japanese term "Obotchama," which refers to a son from a wealthy family.
