Kosugi also fulfilled external director roles in various companies, including HJ Holdings and SkyPerfect JSAT Holdings, and had a tenure as Vice President of the Japanese Commercial Broadcasters Association. His professional highlights include leadership in the Nippon Television Group and contributions to animation culture through the Tokuma Memorial Foundation.
