Yoshio Yabuta (April 13, 1902 – February 18, 1984) was a Japanese poet born in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture. He became a student of the poet Hakushu Kitahara during his third year at Odawara High School. Yabuta attended Hosei University, although it is unclear if he graduated. In addition to poetry, he wrote an extensive biography of Kitahara. Related materials are exhibited at the Odawara Literature Museum.
