Yoshitaka Kitao (born January 21, 1951) is a Japanese businessman, currently serving as the Chairman, President, and CEO of SBI Holdings and the Chairman and CEO of SBI Investment. He is the founder of the SBI Group and has played a significant role in Japanese finance, notably becoming a white knight during the Livedoor-Fuji TV acquisition controversy in 2005. Kitao has a strong academic background with degrees from Keio University and Cambridge University, and he is also recognized for his investments and leadership in various financial ventures.
