Yosif Yosifov, known as Yosko Yosifov, was a Bulgarian opera conductor and composer, a co-founder of the Stara Zagora and Varna opera houses. Born in Kazanlak in 1911, he comes from a musical family. He composed operas, symphonic poems, and many choral works. His career included significant roles as a conductor, leading over 1300 performances. Yosifov created notable works such as his operas 'Bilyana' and 'Tsar Samuel.' He received numerous awards, including the title of 'Honored Artist' and was celebrated for his contributions to Bulgarian music until his death in 1986.
