Young Miko, born María Victoria Ramírez de Arellano Cardona in 1997, is a Puerto Rican rapper and songwriter known for her Latin trap music. She is also a former professional soccer player. Before her music career, she was a midfielder for the Puerto Rican women's national soccer team. She began writing poetry in high school and later studied visual arts at the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, where she learned to tattoo. Miko is openly lesbian and has spoken about her family's support for her sexual orientation. Her first song, 'Quiero', was released on SoundCloud in 2019, followed by the single '105 Freestyle' in 2021. Her debut EP, 'Trap Kitty', was released in 2022 and featured themes of anime, cartoons, and rap music. Miko has collaborated with artists such as Bad Bunny, Feid, and Nicki Nicole, and has toured extensively with her 'Trap Kitty World Tour'.
