Yu Nakajima is a Japanese Rubik's Cube solver born on February 15, 1991, in Ebetsu, Hokkaidō. He previously held world records for the fastest average (11.28 seconds) and single solve (8.72 seconds) for the Rubik's Cube, achieved on May 5, 2008, at the Kashiwa Open. Besides these achievements, he completed the cube in 6.57 seconds in a YouTube video posted shortly after. He also set the World Record for the Professor's Cube with a time of 54.86 seconds in April 2012.
