Yūko Emon (born Mikado Yūko on March 18, 1957 - April 3, 2006) was a Japanese announcer, actress, essayist, and industrial counselor. She was known for her work at NHK under previous names Horiuchi Yūko and Ikeda Yūko. During her acting career, she used the stage name Kiryu Yūko. Her father was Yoshikuni Horiuchi, a former auditor for the Japan Restructuring Organisation, and she had a relative who served as the governor of the Bank of Japan.
