Yuqi Xue (February 19, 1917 – November 9, 2001) was a Chinese diplomat from Wujin, Jiangsu. He graduated from the Central Political School and obtained a master's degree from the University of Melbourne. He held various diplomatic roles, including positions in Australia, Fiji, and the Philippines, and served as the Ambassador to Canada, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea. Xue was involved in significant events such as the hijacking of China Airlines Flight 296. Later in life, he focused on Arab cultural exchanges and suffered from Alzheimer's disease before passing away in 2001.
