Initially known as Yūri Shimazaki and formerly as Yūri Shimazaki, she is recognized for her work with Japan Columbia and previously with Shogakukan Production. She has gained popularity for songs such as 'Hakushon Daimaō no Uta' (1969), 'Minashigo Hatchi' (1970), and her contribution to the G-Men 75 drama series with the song 'Omokage' (1975). Currently, she works as a freelancer.
