Yury Alexandrovich Mironov, born on September 12, 1942, in Moscow, is a Soviet and Russian abstract artist. He is a member of the Creative Union of Professional Artists and the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. Mironov is notable for being one of the organizers of the first independent non-governmental art gallery in the USSR, known as M'ARS, which is now recognized as the M'ARS Center for Contemporary Art.
