Yury Pavlovich Nekrutenko (April 30, 1936 – June 12, 2010) was a Ukrainian entomologist and lepidopterist, known for his role as an editor of the scientific journal 'Nota Lepidopterologica' published by the European Society of Lepidopterology. He authored three monographs and over 150 articles on entomology in various periodicals in Ukraine, the former USSR, and abroad. Nekrutenko translated the 'International Code of Zoological Nomenclature' and the novel 'Master and Margarita' by Mikhail Bulgakov into Ukrainian, along with a literary exegesis containing extensive commentary.
