Yury Andreyevich Tabunshchikov (born October 10, 1939, in Azov) is a Soviet and Russian scientist and educator. He holds a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree and is a corresponding member of RAASN. He is a professor and the head of a department at MArchI, the chief editor of the journal 'AVOK', and the deputy chief editor of 'Energy Saving'. Since 1990, he has also been the president of the non-commercial partnership 'AVOK', which focuses on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and building thermophysics.
