Yury Vasilyevich Tarbeyev (August 8, 1931 – June 5, 2020) was a Soviet and Russian scientist in the field of theoretical and applied metrology. He held a Doctorate in Technical Sciences and served as a professor. Tarbeyev was recognized as an honored scientist of the Russian Federation and received a Government of the Russian Federation Prize in Science and Technology for his contributions.
