Yūsuf Murād was a prominent Arab psychologist born in Cairo on December 28, 1902. He obtained a bachelor's degree in arts in 1921 and in sciences in 1925. He worked in various roles, including the Ministry of Finance and teaching. Murād enrolled in Cairo University's Faculty of Arts in October 1926, graduating with a degree in philosophy in May 1930. He received his doctorate in February 1940 and founded an independent school of psychology known as the Integrative School of Psychology.
