Yvonne van Vlerken is a former Dutch duathlete and triathlete residing in Austria. Born on November 5, 1978, in Krimpen aan de Lek, she became a long-distance duathlon world champion in 2006. Between 2009 and 2017, she achieved multiple victories in Ironman competitions and won the ETU European Championship in long-distance triathlon twice in 2017 and 2019. She previously held the world record for long-distance triathlon at 8:45:48 hours set at Challenge Roth in 2008, which was later broken in July 2009.
