Zachary Plavsic is a Canadian windsurfer born on January 15, 1983, in Vancouver, BC, of Serbian descent. He has competed in two Olympic Games, finishing 23rd in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and achieving an 8th place in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Plavsic also performed well in the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Cup, finishing second, and secured a 12th place in the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships.
