Zakarīyā Muḥammad, born Dawood Mahmoud Eid Mahmoud Shuqair on December 27, 1950, in Zawiya, was a Palestinian poet, writer, and researcher. He was an active journalist and editor since the 1980s and published several books in poetry, fiction, mythology, and children's literature. He was a founding member and a board member of the Palestinian Center for Policy Research (Mussarat). He passed away on August 2, 2023, in Ramallah.
