Žanna Kovba was a Ukrainian scientist and historian born on January 24, 1940, in Slavuta, then part of the Kamianets-Podilskyi region, now in Khmelnytskyi Oblast. She earned her Candidate of Historical Sciences degree in 1974 and served as an associate professor in the Department of Publishing Affairs, Printing, and Book Distribution at the Publishing and Printing Institute of the National Technical University of Ukraine 'KPI'. She passed away on September 1, 2018.
