Zanyar Adami is a Swedish author, film director, and lecturer, born on October 16, 1981, in Saghez, Iran. He is known as the founder and editor-in-chief of the magazine Gringo. Raised in Hässelby, Stockholm, he has been a columnist for Metro and Svenska Dagbladet. Adami participated in the SVT reality show Toppkandidaterna in 2006 and served as a summer host for Sveriges Radio P1. His debut novel Glaspojken was published in 2021. He also received the Stora journalistpriset for his contributions to journalism.
