Zdenka Nedvědová-Nejedlá was a Czech doctor, communist, and feminist born on August 20, 1908, in Prague. She was a member of the Czechoslovak resistance against Nazi occupation and later became a political prisoner. Throughout her imprisonment, she served in medical staff roles at concentration camps including Theresienstadt, Auschwitz, and Ravensbrück. She was the daughter of musical theorist and communist politician Zdeněk Nejedlý. Zdenka was married to doctor Miloš Nedvěd, who tragically died in Auschwitz.
