Zdravko Sančević was a Croatian writer, officer, and diplomat born on January 20, 1931, in Teslić, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emigrated in 1945 and studied in various countries, earning a degree in petroleum engineering and subsequently obtaining a master's and doctorate. Returning to Croatia in 1991, he served in the Ministry of Information and as Minister of Emigration during the war. He held various high-ranking diplomatic positions and was decorated for his service. Additionally, he contributed extensively to literature and was involved with the Croatian Writers' Society.
