He was convicted of murdering 14 women and attempting to murder 7 others. Marchwicki's notorious crimes led to his death sentence, and he died on either April 26 or April 29, 1977, in Katowice. His brutal actions have left a lasting impact on Polish criminal history, marking him as one of the infamous murderers in the country.
