José Antônio de Souza, widely known as Zé do Prato, was a renowned Brazilian rodeo announcer born in Regente Feijó on April 29, 1948. He is celebrated as the greatest rodeo announcer in Brazil and is famous for creating the popular phrase 'Seguuura Peão!'. He traditionally opened events with the Ave Maria prayer and was known for his improvisational verses that often moved attendees to tears. Zé do Prato passed away in São Paulo on January 27, 1992.
