Zekerijah Osmić is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian politician born in Brčko in 1956. He has served as the vice president of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2014. His career includes roles as a mathematics and physics teacher, director of a youth cooperative, and various positions within the Brčko government. Osmić was a member of the parliamentary assembly for the Social Democrats and served as the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina from July 2012 to March 2015. He is married with three children.
