Mehmet Zeki Sezer (born April 12, 1957, in Eskişehir) is a Turkish chemical engineer and former politician. He served as the chairman of the Democratic Left Party (DSP) from 2004 until 2009, following Bülent Ecevit's resignation. His political career began in 1988 and he held various roles within the DSP, including Deputy Chairman and Secretary-General. Sezer was also a member of the Grand National Assembly for Ankara in 1999. He graduated in chemical engineering from Gazi University and worked as a chemical technician before entering politics.
