Zeng Chengwei is a prominent Chinese guqin musician born in 1958 in Sichuan Province. A fifth-generation transmitter of the Shu school of qin music, he learned from his grandfather, Yu Shaoze. In addition to his performance career, he is a highly regarded guqin maker. He serves as the president of the Jinjiang Qin Society and is an assistant professor of folk music at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, as well as the executive director of the Chinese Guqin Association.
