Zenjiro Kaneko is a Japanese politician born on September 24, 1943, affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party. He has been a member of the House of Representatives in Japan's national legislature since his election in 2000. Initially a member of the Democratic Party of Japan, he lost his seat after switching to the New Conservative Party but was re-elected in 2005 as a representative for the LDP. Kaneko is a graduate of Hitotsubashi University and has prior experience working at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
