Zeno Augusto Bastos Veloso (1945-2021) was a Brazilian jurist, notary, professor, and politician. He served as a state deputy and Secretary of Justice in Pará, specializing in civil and constitutional law at UFPA and UNAMA. Veloso contributed to the constitutions of Pará and Amapá and was involved in the 2002 Civil Code project. He was a founding member of IBDFAM and the Paraense Academy of Letters. A book honoring him was published in 2014 featuring contributions from notable civilists and constitutionalists from Brazil and Portugal.
