Zheng Chouyu, born Zheng Wentao on December 4, 1933, is a modern poet from Shandong Province, Jinan City, Taiwan. At the age of 16, he self-published his first poetry collection titled 'Grass Shoes and Raft'. He later released several other poetry collections, including 'The Female Slave Outside the Window', 'Clothing and Bowl', 'Possibility of Snow', 'The Song of the Swallow', and 'The Lonely Person Sits Watching the Flowers'. His poem 'Error', known for the line 'The hooves of my horse are beautiful mistakes...', is widely celebrated and has been adapted into music.
