Zhu Lu-Hao, born Zhu Jia-Fu on January 5, 1954, is a Taiwanese actor known for his work in traditional Chinese opera, particularly Peking opera and Taiwanese 'Ge-Zai' theater. He gained prominence for his role as the Monkey King, performing in over 500 shows across 22 years. Zhu is also a director in the Ge-Zai theater sector. His mother is from Hsinchu, Taiwan, and his father hails from Nanjing. In 2004, he announced his retirement from performing the Monkey King character.
