Zitto Segovia was an Argentine singer-songwriter born on July 19, 1953, in Resistencia. He was a prominent figure in Chaco folk music and began his career in the duo Las Voces del Quebrachal. Later, he formed the trio Los Huincas in Mexico. At the time of his untimely death at age 36 in 1989, he was part of La Nueva Trova Chaqueña and was recognized as a promising innovator in the litoral music scene. His legacy is celebrated, particularly for the awards received at the Festival de Cosquín.
