Zoir Mirzayev, born on March 10, 1968, in Samarkand, Uzbek SSR, is a prominent Uzbek politician. He has been the governor (hokim) of Tashkent Region since September 22, 2022. Previously, he served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan from December 15, 2016, to October 28, 2018. His prior roles include serving as the governor of Samarkand Region from 2010 to 2016 and the governor of Kashkadarya Region from 2019 to 2021.
