Zoran Lj. Petrović is a Serbian electrical engineer and physicist born on December 20, 1954, in Belgrade. Until December 2019, he was a research advisor at the Institute of Physics and later became a full professor in the Electrical Engineering department at Ulster University. Throughout his career, he held various positions at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Physics at the University of Belgrade. He is a regular member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, having served as secretary of the technical sciences department and as a member of the presidency from 2013 to 2021.
